A story about a great company

Thursday, March 27th, 2008

This post is a walk down memory lane for me and its very personnel for me. I am the webmaster for this site and main blog writer. What makes this unusual is that I actually have a long history with this company. I worked for them previously as a salesman back in 1992 before striking out of my own.

So I have an intimate knowledge of the products and personnel. I always have looked upon my time with Envirosystems as a highlight of my working career. They gave me opportunities that benefit me to this day. I honed and acquired many skills in my employment with this company.

I always enjoyed the fact they Envirosystems was an industry leader with great patented products. There AirWall dust collection equipment was green before being green was cool. The low horse power motors produced huge energy savings that paid for the equipment in a very short period of time.

There technology was revolutionary for its time. Traditional dust collection systems required venting the exhaust air outdoors. This required expensive ducting system and huge fans to move the dusty air to its outdoor collection container. They also generally required air pollution permits.

Since the AirWall was designed to clean and the and collect the contamination at its source none of these things would be required. I would come to work knowing that I was working for an industry leader that was solving a manufacturing process problem. Not only did it solve a problem put it reduced costs in the process.

Now, I happily manage their website. We just completed the first major website overhaul in seven years. In Internet terms that is equal to a generation or more. We all hope you enjoy the website and our products.

We also are one of a very small group of industrial equipment manufactures that have embraced having a blog on their website. In that sense, we are an industry leader. We encourage you leave a comment. Your comments after all make this all worth while.
